May Favourites 2017

Another month has come and gone. I am disappointed to say that I didn’t post much this month. However, it is almost a new month, which means it is time for another round of favourites. Ready? Let’s dive in!

Makeup Favourite

This month, I have been reaching for the L’Oréal Voluminous Butterfly Sculpt Mascara. Although it is a bit clumpy, with some effort, it looks great and stays put all day long.

Music Favourite

For the past few weeks, Places by Lea Michelle has been on repeat. It has a less pop feel than her first album, with a more theatrical vibe. Although I love the whole album, the best two songs, in my opinion, are Getaway Car and Hey You. If you haven’t listened to it yet, I highly recommend it

Favourite Book

I finally got around to listening to Lauren Graham’s book Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything In Between. I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan. Lauren Graham discusses her experience on the original Gilmore Girls and the Netflix revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The novel was funny and light-hearted. This book is a must read for any Gilmore Girl fan.

Favourite TV Show

Sophia Amoruso is the genius behind Nasty Gal. Netflix created the series Girlboss, which is loosely based off her career as she starts empire that became Nasty Gal. Britt Robertson excellently portrayed Sophia. It was her acting and the amazing writing that made this  show funny and rather entertaining. I greatly recommend it.
