There are always those products that you absolutely love and those that you don’t. So, below, I have a combination of those type of products to review for you. Just because I say I don’t like a product, doesn’t mean it isn’t good, it just means it didn’t work for me. Ready? Let’s dive in!
I am always looking for a powder that is just as good, if not better than my favourite powder, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. And I am disappointed to say that this one didn’t live up to those standards. While it looks flawless on the skin, it didn’t feel quite as nice. It felt more like a layer on top of skin than the Rimmel powder does. So I will be sticking with my Stay Matte powder for the time being.
Benefit Lollitint Cheek & Lip Stain
I got a small sample of this cheek and lip stain for Christmas and I was very excited to try it out. Even though it wouldn’t necessarily be a colour that I pick out for myself, I did rather like it. However, if you apply it directly to your cheeks, it isn’t very blendable and ended up looking like a pale line across your cheek bones. Applying it to an applicator (or your finger) then apply to your cheeks gets rid of the stripe but doesn’t come out as pigmented.
Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer
I was looking for a lightweight concealer to cover my under eyes when one of the sale reps at Sephora recommended I try this out. However, I would that this concealer creased a lot and accentuated my dark circles, instead of covering them. Defienelty wouldn’t recommend.
Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer
I wanted to end this off on a happier not, therefore I am sharing my go-to concealer with you. I love it so much that I am scraping every last drop out of my third package currently. . It is lightweight and doesn’t crease or become cakey. As for pigmentation, it has a light to medium coverage, which I personally like for my under eyes. I defienelty recommend it.
