Bold Eye Makeup From The Emmy Red Carpet

The biggest night in the TV industry has recently come and gone. Big stars, like Kerry Washington and Priyanka Chopra, walked the red carpet in gorgeous gowns and suits. Bold and bright eye makeup has been a huge trend as of late and several stars were rocking this trend for the award show.

Emily Ratajkowski, American actress and model, strutted down the carpet in a blue Zac Posen dress and a bold, blue smoky eye. Her makeup artist used Lorac Front of the Line Pro Eye Liner in Navy and Aqua ($20 each) and the Lorac Pro 2 and 3 Palette ($44 each) to create this gorgeous look. For a more affordable version of this look, you can use the NYX Colored Felt Tip Liner in Royal Blue and Cobalt Blue ($13 each) and the Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes Travel Palette ($28).

Sarah Hyland, Modern Family actress, paired her unique Monique Lhuillier ensemble with a subtle gold eyeliner. Her look consisted of the L’Oréal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Gold ($9) and the L’Oréal Infallible 24 Hr Eye Shadow in Eternal Sunshine ($8). So, not only is this look stunning but it affordable too.

Olivia Culpo, Miss USA 2012 and Miss Universe 2012, rocked a gorgeous silver strapless number by Zac Posen, paired with strappy silver sandals. For her makeup, she kept the eyeshadow neutral, in earth tones, and added a pop of colour with purple eyeliner on her lower lash line. For an affordable purple liner, try the Sephora Collection Eye Pencil To Go in Fresh Violet ($8).

Lastly, we have Orange is the New Black star, Laverne Cox, who looked stunning in a fitted, sheer gold gown by Nameen Khan. Her eye makeup was flawless with a yellow, gold and bronze smoky eye. For a palette that has the perfect colour combo to recreate this look, try the Maybelline The Nudes Palette ($10).
