I have already told you different uses for lip balm, concealer, bronzer and lipsticks. Now, I am going totell you even more alternative uses for some of your go-to beauty products. From hairspray to blush to eyeshadow primer, the uses are endless. Now, without further ado, let’s dive in!
White eyeliner is great for making your eyes look more open and awake. But did you know it also makes an amazing brow highlight? Just swipe a little bit under your brows for instant definition. While the Tarte Clay Pot Waterproof Eyeliner is a great choice, if you want something a bit cleaner and faster to use, try a pencil liner.
Trends like contouring and strobing have been huge as of late. This has resulted in highlighter being around every turn. Not only are they great for giving your skin a healthy glow, but you can give your lips a more full and juicy look by tapping a bit of highlighter in the center. A liquid highlight, such as Benefit High Beam, is great for this, as it will not dry out your lips as much as a powder would. As for powder highlights, they make great eyeshadows, as they bring so much light and definition to your eyes.
So I mentioned adding liquid highlight to your lips, but before you do that, you can add a bit of blush to your lips instead of a lipstick. Not only does having the same colour on your lips and cheeks look natural and gorgeous, but if you have a blush palette, you can mix an match your blushes to find the perfect lipstick shade. If you are using a powder highlight, mix it on your finger with a bit of lip balm before you apply it, so that it doesn’t feel dry on your lips. If you want something simple and fast, try a liquid blush, such as the Benefit Dandelion Dew Baby-Pink Liquid Blush.
Say good bye to concealer creasing under your eyes with an eyeshadow primer. Just like how it prevents creasing on your lids, it will do the same on your under eyes. All you need to do is tap the tiniest bit of your favourite eyeshadow primer, such as Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, under your eyes before your go-to concealer.
