Your Guide to New Eyeshadow Palettes at Sephora

A few weeks ago, I posted about some of the new foundations at Sephora. And, since I have been seeing a ton of new eyeshadow palettes that have been hitting the selves recently, I thought I would do another guide to what is new at Sephora. There has been a huge range of shadows coming out, from matte neutral shades to bright and fun shades. So, without further ado, lets dive in!

Eyeshadow Palettes @ Sephora

1. Sephora Collection Disney Minnie Beauty: Minnie’s World of Color Eyeshadow Palette ($45)

Packaged in an adorable polka dotted clutch, this palette contains 20 creamy and pigmented eyeshadows. Up the center are 4 matte neutral shades and on the sides are a variety of mattes and shimmers, with a range of colors. Also, this limited edition palette has a ton of adorable names for all the different shades, such as Daisy’s My BFF (matte white), Big Shoes to Fill (satin mustard) and Mickey’s Squeeze (shimmery purple).

2. Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette ($60)

Am I the only one who is looking forward to this movie? I love the bright dramatic colours that are used to inspire this palette, not to mention the incredible packaging. This limited edition palette has 20 shades all inspired by different characters from the movie. They organized the eyeshadow in columns, according to which character inspired them (Alice, Mad Hatter, The White Queen, The Red Queen, Time), so that it is easy to recreate their looks or come up with your own unique combinations.

3. Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye and Cheek Palette ($39)

This palette comes in 4 different colours, so that you can find the one that will most complement your skin tone. It contains 5 eyeshadows and two blushes. This palette is amazing for travel, as it is so compact and has a variety of different products. And don’t worry about rushing to pick this one up, because it is the only one on this list that is not limited edition.

4. Tarte Rainforest of The Sea Eyeshadow Palette ($34)

Just because this is the most affordable item on this list does not mean it isn’t as good. In the short time it has been out, it has gotten over 30k loves on Sephora’s website, over 20k more than any other item on this list. I think it is because these velvety shadows are perfect for everyday wear, and the shimmery pigment brightens up your eyes.

5. Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes Palette ($49)

This palette is also a great every day palette. Not only can you use these matte, neutral shadows as on your eyes, but they also work as for your brows. You can apply these shadows wet or dry, and, if you don’t know how to combine these shadows to create a fantastic look, this palette comes with a card that shows a few different looks.
