5 Ways to Add Oil Into Your Skincare Routine

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you would know I love adding oils into my skincare routine. Not only are they super moisturizing, but different oils have different additional benefits. Also, oil dissolves oil. So, if you have oily skin, you shouldn’t fear adding oil into your routine. Are you ready to find some new ways to add oil into your skincare routine and make your skin look glowing? Lets jump in!

Moisturize: You can either use just an oil as a light moisturizer, or add a few drops of oil into your favourite moisturizer for an extra boost of hydration, which is especially helpful in the colder months.

Remove Makeup: Rubbing a few drops of oils over your eyes will remove any makeup. I personally think this works better than most store bought makeup removers that I have tried.

Exfoliate: Add 1/2 tsp of coconut oil with 1 tsp of ground coffee beans for a great facial exfoliate that will refresh your skin and wake you up.

Face Mask: Mix avocado, yogurt, honey and olive oil together for a super moisturizing and cooling face mask. Another amazing DIY face mask with oil is just coconut oil and honey.

Under Eye Treatment: Smear coconut oil on two halves of a cotton pad. Leave them in the fridge for 15 minutes and voila, you have moisturizing and cooling under eye treatments.
