Daily Tip: September 14th, 2015

There are many ways to exfoliate your body. Using scrubs, dry brushing or even shaving are just a few great ways to exfoliate your legs. However, if you are using a loofah to exfoliate, you may want to read this tip.

Today’s tip is… Lose the Loofah.

It took me a while to part with my loofah but I am glad I did. Unlike when using a scrub, the dead skin cells don’t just wash off. Instead, they get caught in the loofah. This means that every time you use your loofah, you are scrubbing your skin with old dead skin cells and other stuff your loofah has collected. Gross right? Throw out your loofah and pick up a scrub. Your skin will thank you. You can even DIY a body scrub with 3 Tsp. Coconut Oil and 1 1/2 cups white sugar. Just mix it together and you have an moisturizing body scrub. Take it up a notch with a few drops of food colouring to make it fun and pretty.
