The Eyeliner Rainbow

Today’s post was going to be a back to school haul, but it wasn’t turning out the way I wanted it to (but if you want to see hauls in the future, let me know in the comments below).  I was trying to figure of something to do instead, and, like most of my ideas, this one was inspired by my Instagram and Pinterest feed. It is different than anything I have done in the past, so I hope you all enjoy! Lets get started!

There is a whole world of eyeliners that aren’t black. Although black is easier to pull off, coloured eyeliner can look really good. Therefore, I have created a list of coloured eyeliners, including all the colours of the rainbow and more!

Rainbow Eyeliners

First off we have a MAC Technakohl Liner in Sourpuss ($19.50). This yellow liner is super pretty and has a bit of green too it. The formula is super creamy, smudge free and long wearing. Also, if yellow isn’t your colour, this eyeliner comes in 36 other shades, including an ocean blue called SmoothBlue and a sparkly gold called Twinkled.

Next to the MAC eyeliner, there is a Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Jade ($26). This shimmer emerald green is goes on smoothly and is moisturizing, as it has Vitamin E in it. You can either use it as a normal eyeliner or create a smoky eye by smudging it out. Plus, it is waterproof, so you can’t really go wrong with this eyeliner.

Now we have an Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Electric ($20). Although Urban Decay is best known for their Naked palettes, they make some incredible eyeliners. This creamy eyeliner stays soft and blendable for about 30 seconds, then you have a waterproof eyeliner that wouldn’t budge. Similarly to the Stila eyeliner, this one contains moisturizing ingredients, such as Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E.

For a darker blue, there is the Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil in Lustrous Sapphire ($8). This pencil is cool because it is a gel formula in a pencil, so it will glide on smoothly and easily. Also, when they say lasting drama, they mean lasting drama, as it lasts up to 16hrs. Say goodbye to worrying if your eyeliner will wear off.

From blue, we move onto purple with the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Purple ($5). So maybe they were not creative with the colour name but you are still getting a great product. This gorgeous eyeliner has great colour payoff and is long lasting. Also, it is super creamy, so it will not pull, unlike some other liners.

From cool colour we move onto warm colour with Sephora Collection Countor Matte Gel Eyeliner Waterproof in Sly Like a Fox ($18). Similar to the Urban Decay eyeliner, this one is also a gel formula in a pencil, so it will glide on smoothly. What I love most about this liner is that is dries to a matte finish, which looks modern and it has amazing colour pigmentation.

Orange is one of my favourite colours I general, so this Kate Von D Lightning Liner in Ludwig ($25) is my favourite liner in this post. Unlike the other eyeliners, this one is a pen, not a pencil, which will give you good control. This metallic liner has a click dispenser, so you get the right about of product and it doesn’t dry out quickly.

The Kate Von D liner may be my favourite, but this NYX Retractable Eyeliner in Pink ($5). So the name may lack originality but the product is unique, as you never have to sharpen it, since when you twist it up, it sharpens itself. Not only is is easy to use and has great colour pay off but is long lasting and good quality for only $5.

Last but not least, there is the Wet ‘n Wild Color Icon Kohl Liner Pencil in You’re Always White ($1). So white may not be part of the rainbow but it is great eyeliner colour, as it brightens your eyes and makes you look more awake. Not only does this one from Wet ‘n Wild cost less than a chocolate bar but it is creamy, has great colour pigmentation and lasts up to 12 hrs.

What is your favourite eyeliner? Are you going to try any of these colours? Let me know in the comments below!

P.S. Match your colourful eyeliner with these fall beauty essentials!
