Can’t get through a day without constant touch ups on your makeup? Hopefully this tip will help!
Today’s tip is… Prime and Set.
If your foundation starts wearing off within a few hours, you may be forgetting two important steps in your makeup routine, priming and setting. Before your foundation, go in with a little bit of primer to help smooth out the surface of your skin and make your makeup last longer. When it comes to picking the right primer, you need one that fits your needs. I use Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer because it reduces the look of pore and leaves my skin looking matte. However, if you are looking for a primer to combat redness, try L’oreal Paris Studio Secrets Anti Redness Primer, which has SPF 15 as a bonus. Or, if you want a primer that also helps get rid of acne, try NYX Skin Elixir – Balance. It has tea tree oil in it, which will help clear up acne.
Now onto setting your makeup. You have two options when it comes to makeup setting products. One, a makeup setting spray, such as e.l.f Makeup Mist & Set. Two, a setting powder. I personally prefer a powder and am currently using Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder. However, both powders and sprays help make you makeup last longer, so it is a personal preference to which one is right for you.

P.S. Now you have your foundation lasting longer. Don’t forget about your mascara. Make it last longer too with this tip!
