Skin care can be complicated. With figuring out what skin type you are, what products work for your skins and which ones don’t, it is a lot of work. To help you out, check out this tip.
Today’s tip is… There is a Difference Between Dry and Dehydrated.
Although dry and dehydrated may seem like synonyms for each other, they are not. Having dry skin, which is a skin type, means your skin isn’t producing enough oils. Whereas, having dehydrated skin, which is a skin condition, means your skin doesn’t have enough water. Dehydrated skin is usually caused by a lack of water intake, poor diet, over exfoliation, harsh weather or stripping cleansers. To fix dehydrated skin, make sure to be drinking lots of water and not exposing your skin to harsh weather conditions, like too much sun or wind. Also, switch to a more gentle, hydrating and non-foaming cleanser, or use a cleansing oil or milk. As for dry skin, switch to oil based products, such as removing your makeup with coconut oil instead of normal makeup remover, using a cleansing oil, and mixing almond oil with your moisturizer.
