I love to travel. But packing isn’t the easiest thing. I always get to my destination to notice I forgot something. So, I have created a list of ten things that I normally forget. Lets get started.
A Water Bottle
No one wants to be hydrated. But something that is easily over looked is a reusable water bottle. If you don’t take one, you will either end up buying an extreme amount of plastic ones or a brand new reusable one. Both of which are a waste of money.
If you are wondering why you need a flashlight, then I have a few questions for you. One, have you ever walked a beach at night with poor lighting? Or been at a hotel when there has been a blackout? And, while your phone will work, what happens if it is out of battery? Flashlights are good as backup. In all likelihood you probably wont have to use it, but if you do, you will be glad it is there.
Does the forecast call for sunshine for your entire trip? Even if it does, take a raincoat. You never know when you will be caught in the rain.
You will probably take your phone with you, but in all the excitement of pack, don’t forget the charger. Your phone is pretty useless with no power.
Hand sanitizer is good all the time, but especially when you are going somewhere that isn’t very sanitary. I mean, it is always good to take precautions. Isn’t it? Find out my favourite hand sanitizer (yes, I have a favourite) by clicking here.
Even if you are skiing in the alps, sunscreen is a must. Just because their is snow doesn’t mean the sun is any less powerful then it is on a beach.
Aloe Vera Gel
Who wants a sunburn on vacation? Well, who wants a sunburn at any time? Take a bit of aloe vera gel to help with those uncomfortable sunburns so that you can get back to enjoying vacation.
So simple, yet so easy to forget. While they are small and easy to over look while packing, you are going to wish you had packed them when you get to the beach and want your hair to stop being messed up by the wind. Or when you get to the 35 degree weather and want your hair off your neck.
You can’t go wrong with a small travel size of dry shampoo. Or make your own by clicking here. Because who wants greasy hair?
The high altitudes of a plane can leave your face feeling dry, tight and begging for some moisture. So don’t leave without some moisturizer. And not a light moisturizer. Make sure it is intense moisturizing, or something along those lines, Your skin will thank you.
What items do you usually forget while packing? Let me know in the comments below!
P.S. Your skin isn’t the only thing that the high altitudes are going to leave dry and craving moisture? Your hair will need some too. Click here to find out an easy way to fix that craving.
